Highline Vail, a Doubletree by Hilton has been a long standing feature in West Vail, but it is getting a remodel and addition.  The addition includes a new building with 80 proposed rooms and the remodel includes a new face-lift for the original hotel.  Also, the project includes the construction of employee housing on the north end of the site.  This apartment housing will have 16 units with 2-3 bedroom options.

Alpine Engineering, Inc. is the civil engineer for the project.  Alpine has worked alongside the owner's representative, architect, landscape architect, and Town of Vail to produce a design that accomplishes the goals of the owners, but also contributes employee housing to a town that always needs more.  There are various site, drainage, and utility improvements.  Drainage includes routing stormwater around the proposed addition in swales to proposed storm connections at the pool and existing building.  Alpine has coordinated with local utility companies to provide communications, electricity, gas, water, and sewer to the proposed buildings.
